Meet the Governors

Our governors work extremely hard to support the school. They do this in many ways such as acting as a “critical friend”, carrying out lesson observations, scrutinising the management and running of the school, ensuring that we are forging forward and raising educational standards. They all sit on sub-committees, are linked to year groups and curriculum areas. They are very active and are invaluable to the school.

You can find the Governor Attendance Records here: 2016-2017.

Governor Summary Matrix of Information

We have several types of governors:-

  • Parent governors
  • Community governors
  • Teacher governors

The idea is to achieve a cross section of all the stake-holders in the school, thus representing everyone’s views.
