Christian Heritage Centre Trip
The Christian Heritage Centre Trip - Ancient Egypt
On 24th and 25th October, 5B and 5A walked from Springfield to The Christian Heritage Centre on Bell End, Rowley Regis. We were warmly welcomed by Roland and the other friendly volunteers at the centre and, after a brief introduction, were put into three groups.
Each group took turns learning about the Ancient Egyptians (the story of Moses); making an Egyptian boat (a skiff); and completing a treasure hunt around the hundreds of artefacts in the centre of the chapel.
To round off our morning, we all sang 'Let My People Go' - a famous hymn which helps to retell the story of Moses.
