We understand that it's a difficult time for everyone at the moment. We think you (and your grown-ups especially) are doing an amazing job staying safe at home and working so hard with your learning. We know it's not the same and you miss all of your friends and teachers but you are amazing and capable of anything you put your mind to! You are all being so committed to your home learning and we know your work is really important so you can learn lots to help you in later life but YOU are also really important and we are here to help you, even if we aren't in the classroom!
So here are some mindfulness activities for you to do if it all gets a bit too much! You can do them any time: if you need a break, if you're struggling with your work, if you feel a bit tired or sad or if you just don't feel yourself and want your sparkle back! You can do them as little or as often as you like, whatever is best for you!
Don’t forget that your grown-ups are finding this tricky too so maybe you could share some of these fun activities with those at home and check in with how they’re feeling too. Remember we are all in this together!
Stay safe and we are always here if you need us Year 2,
Miss Gough, Mr Taylor and the Year 2 Team
