Remote Learning 22/23

Thursday 9th March

Maths

In Maths this week, we have been looking at measure and converting between m, cm and mm. Today, we would like you to do some measuring around your house.

You need to measure 10 objects and try to be as accurate as you can.

If you do not have a ruler, think about what else you could use instead. For example, you could use a lego brick as a unit of measure and see how many lego bricks each object is.

Please record your measurements and bring them to school tomorrow.

English

To help you improve your Reading VIPERS, we would like you to read the text and complete the questions. Hopefully, this activity will give you some inspiration for your Writing Legends homework too.

We will go through the answers in class tomorrow.

PE

Have a go at some cosmic yoga - I have found a theme to perfectly suit the day: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSZvMHlw9vs

When you have finished all your work for the day, your next job is to go out and enjoy the snow! We look forward to hearing about any snowmen you make!

Friday 10th March

To help with our writing genre next week of Non chronological Reports, we would like you to research and create a fact file about either Polar Bears, Killer Whales or elephant seals. Let’s see how many interesting facts you can find out! You can use this template to help you.

We will share these as a class on Monday.

Pleasure for Reading
