Well what a fantastic week!
We have been busy this week, in Maths we have been using 10 frames and Part, Part, whole models to add and subtract numbers to 20. We will continue with this next week too.
In English we have been using our Inference skills to form opinions about Goldilocks' behaviour. We have been sequencing events of the story and rehearsing the story orally with actions and using puppets. We would like to share these with you at home!
We have also improved our times for getting changed for PE but, we need your help by putting labels in our clothes please. In Science we have been labelling parts of the body and we have also discussed "What makes a good friend?" in PSHE and children thoroughly enjoyed their 'friendship' walk.
Finally, this week your children have been given homework sheets with various Maths, English and Topic activities to try at home. They don't need to be handed in until Wednesday (to give them chance to colour in the reading smiley faces and to practise the spellings). There is a copy in the home learning section if you happen to lose it. Also, don't forget to remind your children to put their reading books with their diaries in the changing basket if they need to change it!
Thanks again for all your support
