🌟 Reception News – What a Week! 🌟

Hello parents and carers! 👋
What a fantastic first week back it has been – we are so happy, and even more importantly, the children are too! 

📖 Story of the Week
This week we’ve been munching our way through The Very Hungry Caterpillar 🐛🍎🍐 The children have done an amazing job using their Talk for Writing skills to map, retell, and bring the story to life. We’ve loved hearing their confident voices and imaginative ideas!

🔺 Maths Fun
In Maths, we’ve been exploring 3D shapes 🧊⚽
The children have been spotting shapes in the classroom, building with them, and chatting all about their features—learning through play at its best!

🐌 Special Returnees!
Guess who came back after the Easter holidays?
Our slippery, slimy snails! 🐌🐌
The children were thrilled to see them again and enjoyed sharing their excitement with friends and teachers.

💛 Happy Hearts
It’s been wonderful to see how happily the children have settled back into school, reconnecting with friends and adults so smoothly. What superstars they are!
