Grey to Green Bids
As Springfield has been working closely with the Education Nature Park, we have been awarded a grant of up to £10,000 to spend on our school grounds, in order to make it more nature friendly. The theme to spend the grant is 'Grey to Green' which means we can only spend it on areas which are nature free.
On Thursday 29th February, Year 4 did some serious Learning Outside The Classroom (LOTC) buy conducting a survey of the school site, to see where we could spend our money. They then worked in teams to put together their 'bids' which were handed to the Rights Respecting Team for further discussion.
