Fire Safety Workshop
Year Four: West Midlands Fire Service - Fire Safety Workshop
On Thursday 7th November, the firefighters from Oldbury Fire Station visited the children in Year 4 for a Fire Safety workshop. After turning up in their gleaming Brigade Response Vehicle (or BRV for short!), the team helped to educate the children on fire safety at home, including what to do if you discover a fire. The children also explored the various tools and equipment available to members of the West Midlands Fire Service when out on the road in one of their BRVs.
As you can see from the photos, the children had a fantastic afternoon and learnt an enormous amount about fire safety.
